We had a great time this weekend on our holiday field trip to the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry and the Holiday Festival of Lights! We partnered with Hampton County First Steps and PAT, Jasper County First Steps, and AB Tours to take our children and parents on a fun holiday getaway.
The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry (@explorecml) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage young children’s potential by inviting families of all backgrounds to explore environments and experiences that spark imagination and stimulate curiosity through the power of PLAY.
The Holiday Festival of Lights (@JICP.HolidayFestivalofLights) is a driving tour through James Island of beautiful light displays and even more:
-A magnificent sculpture made from over 50 tons of sand
-An up-close look at the lights during a ride on the holiday train
-Mouth-watering treats from Santa’s Sweet Shoppe
-Giant greeting cards created by local students
-The Victorian carousel
-Visiting with Santa Claus
and much, much more.
