Beaufort County First Steps is committed to one primary mission: ensuring that every child in Beaufort County is healthy and ready for kindergarten. Since our founding in 1999, we’ve supported thousands of children in their school readiness journey through programs that offer early intervention, strengthen families, enhance children’s health and well-being, and elevate the quality of early care and education. Each county in South Carolina hosts a First Steps Partnership that addresses local needs and fosters collaboration to benefit our state’s youngest learners. Beaufort County First Steps is proud to contribute to this statewide early childhood education initiative.
